Adhesive Description:

NECAL 8195 is a supported pressure sensitive adhesive displaying excellent tack.

Features:
NECAL
8195 will adhere to many substrates.  8195 is highly recommended for rough textured surfaces that have low contact areas.  It can be used where vibration deadening is required.

Physical Properties:
Composition: Acrylic based adhesive
Release liner: Available with P or W liner
Thickness: Total construction 32 mil + or – 10%
Scrim: Polyurethane open-celled foam
Adhesion (PSTC-1 std.): 95 - 120 oz./in.
Tensile (Polyester to SS, 1 sq.in.): 90 p.s.i.
Shear adhesion (Polyester to SS, 1000 grams/sq.in.): 7 days +
Application temperature: 50°F Minimum
Service temperature range: -40°F minimum to 225°F maximum

Bonding Instructions:
Remove the release liner and apply mask to clean, dry substrate.  Use firm pressure to obtain maximum contact.  Use of air, hydraulic or mechanical bonding press is recommended with pressure of 40-60 p.s.i. with dwell time of 2-5 seconds.

Storage:
The shelf life of this material is two years when stored in a cool, dry place.

Thickness: Total construction 4.0 mil
Scrim: .00048 mil polyester

Tensile (Polyester to SS, 1 sq.in.): 65 p.s.i.
Shear adhesion (Polyester to SS, 1000 grams/sq.in.): 7 days +
Application temperature: 50°F Minimum

Adhesive Description:

NECAL 8192 is a white or black foam supported adhesive with superior tack.

Features:
NECAL
8192 is primarily intended for applications with extremely rough substrates such as cast iron, cement, etc.  8192 has excellent impact and vibration resistance.  8192 has excellent adhesion to polyethylene and polypropylene as well as other substrates.

Physical Properties:
Composition: Rubber based adhesive
Release liner: Available with P or W liner
Thickness: Total construction 32 mil + or – 10%
Scrim: White Polyethylene closed-cell foam
Adhesion (PSTC-1 std.): 160-170 oz./in., 80-100 to polyethylene and polypropylene
Tensile (Polyester to SS, 1 sq.in.): 65 p.s.i. foam failure
Shear adhesion (Polyester to SS, 1000 grams/sq.in.): 7 days +

NECAL 7114 is a unique unsupported heat activated adhesive.

Features:
NECAL
7114  displays high bond strengths to many substrates including vinyl, metal, a variety of plastics and various cloths and leathers.  7114 has excellent environmental resistance.

Physical Properties:
Adhesion: Cloth & vinyl destroying bond
Thickness: Total construction 1.0 mils
Service temperature range: -40°F minimum to 200°F maximum

Bonding Instructions:
Bonding instructions: 4-10 seconds at 325-375°F depending on materials bonded.  Minimum glue line temperature of 300°F and adequate pressure to initiate bonding required.

Adhesive Description:

NECAL 5132 is a unique thermoplastic adhesive with excellent bonding characteristics.

Features:
NECAL
5132 is designed to be resistant to blocking, so it needs no release liner.  5132 has the unique capability of bonding to a wide variety of substrates, including; glass, wood, aluminum, steel, brass, various cloths and leathers, and most plastics (ABS, styrene, nylon, celcon, polyethylene, and polypropylene). In addition, 5132 has excellent resistance to water, oil, gas, and most detergents and has excellent low temperature properties.

Physical Properties:
Adhesion: Aluminum to ABS 8-12 lbs.
Thickness: Total construction 1.5 mils
Tensile (Polyester to SS, 1 sq.in.): 300 p.s.i.
Service temperature range: -60°F minimum to 190°F maximum

Bonding Instructions:
Use pressure, 40-60 p.s.i., for 1.5 – 10 seconds dependent upon substrate.  It is essential that the glue line be between 300° - 350°F for bond to develop.  Keep in mind the heat sink effect of the substrate. It may be necessary to preheat the substrate or increase temperature and/or dwell time.

Storage:
The shelf life of this material is two years when stored in a cool, dry place.

4800 adheres to most substrates, including aluminum, brass, steel, glass, enamels and plastics such as polystyrene, ABS and acrylic.  Because of its thickness, 4800 is recommended for use on rough surfaces.

Thickness: Total construction 1.0 – 4.0 mils dependent upon application
