SLITTING & SHEETING

Slitting methods are score and shear slit. The shear slit is excellent for producing even, smooth edges, while score slitting is good for thick materials and unsupported adhesives (transfer tapes).

NECAL also has sheeting equipment, die cutting Thompson presses and narrow web laminators.  NECAL has 4 sheeting machines, with 1 being wide web, and 2 being able to laminate to other materials prior to sheeting lay flat products.  Of the narrow web laminators, one contains a heated laminating station suitable for heat activated adhesives.
