Necal 5130 Thermo-bond Metal IMD Adhesive

 

Necal manufacturers a metal in-mold adhesive that is intended for bonding metal to plastic during the molding process. It works well with lower shrink plastics such as ABS and ABS-PC blends. Necal 5130 is a thermo-bond dry film adhesive that can be roll, sheet, strip, or piece heat-laminated to metal prior to insert molding. The final adhesive bond is activated by mold temperature and pressure. Necal 5130 has been successfully used in decorative automotive trim and large appliance applications and is suitable for other applications as well.

Because Necal 5130 is a dry film adhesive, it is easy to process. It can be knife, steel rule, hard tool, or laser cut.
